Holiday art classes for kids 6 to 16 years of age.

Fun session introducing perceptual and technical exercises like 1- 15 minute, opposite hand drawing, blind drawing and observational drawing.

Painting on small canvases, drawing or computer art. We may draw from still life, get inspired by a famous artist work, or do self portraits.

Photo is from a class with 7 year olds trying out opposite hand, blind drawing, memory drawing etc exercises.

The sessions will be tailored for those attending.

If the weather is good we may also work/take our break in the garden

TIMES:

6 to 12 year olds: 10am to 12pm each day scheduled below.

12 to 16 year olds: 1pm to 3pm each day scheduled below.

Age ranges are flexible.

• I may run other sessions in the summer to be confirmed later. Please let me know if you have particular dates in summer that can work for you and I will see if the group can coordinate other dates if you can't make the ones above.

• Please note that if you have 3 or more children we can run a private art party at different times/location too! Or ask about individual sessions.

• Insured and CRB checked with crb checked assistant/2nd artist.

• Suitable for all abilities.
• Please dress your child in suitable clothes for getting messy, or bring an old shirt.

Held at my home and art studio, 18 Grays Court, Portsmouth, PO12PN

• Please note I live next to the Gunwharf, so if you fancy spending a couple of hours there whilst the class is on, please feel free to park at my place (just ask for a permit in advance).

I may take photos of the children and their artwork as a group which may be used in advertising. I will not name children, and only group rather than solo photos will be used. If you would prefer not to have photos of your child used on my website or other adverts please let me know.
