Class Subjects:

• traditional life study model classes for all levels
• dressed models (costumes, fashion, dancers, sunbather, surfer, performers, intriguing characters/bodies) for all levels
• topic based sessions such as working with particular materials or portraiture
• Local landscape (beach, park, or city!)
• courses to produce a finished painting or drawing. Beginners to intermediate
• Unled sessions (with critique as wanted) using model along side myself as I produce my own work. Individual sessions and courses.

Prices: Unless otherwise stated on the schedule page, all group class sessions include perceptual & creative brain training exercises, last for 2 hours & will be followed by refreshments & social time.

Group Class Prices:

• 2 hour class £12.00.

• Or, stay just 1 hour class £6.00. (Choose short exercises for the first 1hr, or join us for 2nd hour for 2-3 longer poses/studies.

• From March 2010 I will be running Wednesday morning classes for 2 hrs, 10.30am. Same format as the saturday classes. First Wednesday of each month.

• About once a month I run party nights with 1 hour art class with model, then the model runs a class or performance in their speciality (i.e dance, boxing etc) and then we have a buffet and party til late. These sessions typically happen on Saturdays 6pm til 9pm, £15, followed by party til 2am (free). Some friday or sunday events.

• You don't have to book a course, just come along to the session you can make, but please try to RSVP each time! And cancel by phone/email if you cant make it!!

If paying by paypal, there are additional Paypal fees included: 1 hr class 40p, 2 hr class 60p, etc. Email me to arrange to pay by this method.

What to bring/materials:

Please bring an A4 or A3 sketch pad and pencil, or I can supply. Coloured pencils, pastels, paints, charcoal also welcome.

I have sketch pads for sale, or you can use loads of recycled paper i have too.

Please note this is a 'sofa club' -- its in my home, relaxed and typically seated. I do have a couple of easels you can use if you want to stand/do larger work, but as the first hr is 1-6 min drawing i recommend smaller scale paper.

Classes are normally held at 18 Grays Court, Portsmouth, PO12PN, but please see class schedule for any variation - e.g. beach or maybe on of the pubs.
