Commission for a bedroom design and decoration in a Bollywood - Indian theme. Included the dancing Ganesh painting below. I used the client's silk fabrics to produce drapes, cushions, a bed canopy, table runners and vanity table curtains. I also selected many of the decorative items, furnishings, rugs, storage hat boxes and completed painting of the walls in three tone colour scheme.

The red walls are hot paprika, and dark sandalwood. The vanity dresser was refinished in gold and a silk sari was used to create a curtain and valance, and the stool cushion was reupholstered in light gold silk cover and also painted gold. The bed canopy was created using a sari from India with box pleating and ribbon tie backs. The curtains were made from 2 silk saris, box pleated and have tie backs.The bed spread had gold and sequin images in concentric circles.
